AAER USA acquired in April 2008 100% of Wind-Smart LLC, a Rhode Island company dedicated to the development of community wind projects. As the general contractor, Wind-Smart LLC is in charge of the construction of the first wind turbine sold to the Town of Portsmouth, Rhode Island.
